Mari was great - one of the best photographers we have worked with!
She did a beautiful newborn session for us and was able to get amazing photos even with my toddler all over the place.
She coordinated makeup and was able to rearrange the day we had booked so the rental dress would be here for our shoot and she was happy to work with me on doing it a day my husband could be off!

We recently did Minis with her for bluebonnets and those came out amazing again!
We had a few travel plans and family plans and since bluebonnet sessions rely on bluebonnets and my husband has a few days off she was able to work with us on a day that was perfect for us amongst a busy schedule. She was also able to capture my toddler smiling which is great because she rarely smiles for photos now. I loved that she had cookies for my toddler after the session. That was really sweet!

I love that she captures candids but also directs us on how to pose because we’d be clueless and completely need direction. Oh and she even let me get 2 extra photos when I was being indecisive!!

I booked a photo session with Mari on the weekend my family had just arrived in Houston after an 11 hour long flight. I was worried my kids would be grumpy, but she was so sweet and friendly that they had fun all along the shooting <3 But the best part was the result! She is such a talented photograph, it is amazing to see how many perfect shots she got in such few minutes. They all had a very candid feel. I loved that I didn't have to plan my whole day around the shooting and afterwards I got to keep these beautiful memories forever!

I've been wanting to get professional photos done for a few years now and finally realized I needed to pull the trigger before my kids got any older. I had been following Mari's work for a while; she’s clearly super talented, and I signed up for her mailing list. When the bluebonnet mini sessions came up, I jumped on the chance.

Mari was incredibly professional from the start. She sent over really helpful guides so we knew exactly what to expect and how to get the most out of the shoot. We showed up a bit early, and she was right on time. She was so sweet and engaging with the kids. They absolutely loved her, and she somehow managed to get the most beautiful photos out of them, which isn’t easy.

She’s clearly very kind and thoughtful. We even received a special little gift after the shoot, which the kids LOVED. As soon as we got in the car, my husband and I looked at each other and both said, “Yep, that is why you go with professionals.”

It was such a great experience all around. She’s not only talented but super organized. She checks in to make sure everything’s on track so you get your photos quickly. I am very much a type B personality so I need the extra nudges. Highly recommend!

We loved having Mari capture our family photos! I especially like her communication before, during and after the session. She did great with the kids and gave them a little treat after which they loved! We love our photos and can’t wait to hang them on our wall gallery.

I can’t recommend Mari enough. Google should give the option for going over 5 stars, she’s that good. Prior to booking our newborn session I had fears that this one moment in time would end up missing the mark, we would hate our photos and wouldn’t get to do it again as our littles grow up so fast. Fast forward to finding Mari - she talked me through what the session would look like and put my mind at ease that our short time together would capture my family, including our dog, in our most authentic way. I’m not a fan of folding the baby into crazy positions and swaddling tightly to get the perfect shot and Mari understands this vision, the idea of capturing the moment. I have seen a glimpse of our photos and am eager to see the fully edited version that we get to cherish forever. Lastly to top it all off, Mari is so laid back and makes you feel like you’re all family. She’s truly a gem that no one should hesitate to book. I would give her a solid 8/5. Give her those extra points Google!

Honestly, it was the easiest photography session for my family ever. Mari is so sweet, the kids (which mine are super shy btw) immediately were cheesing hard! We only booked a 20 minute session. I was looking for the one updated family photo for the year and ended up getting my entire album bc there were so many good ones!! I will also say her letting me pick which ones to edit was great. As a Virgo, I love a little more control! Can’t wait to use her again 🙂

Our extended family (4 family groups) had a photo session with Mari during a family party to celebrate both a milestone birthday (95!) and a house-warming for our new home. We were concerned it would be too many people or would feel rushed, since we had so many groups. Mari was just excellent. She had wonderful ideas, and spent a lot of time with us, to make sure that we were able to get wonderful shots of each group. She even made some creative suggestions with 'action' photos that were just great. I would recommend her with 8 stars if I could!
