I am so pleased that we decided to go with Maria V Photography for our daughters' senior photos. Maria was so pleasant to work with from start to finish. Highly recommend! This was our first time taking professional family photos outdoors, and I’m so glad we chose Maria! While her portfolio was impressive, I really appreciate that her responsiveness to my questions were prompt and thorough. Prior to our beach session, she provided a what-to-wear guide and initiated a quick call to talk through any last minute details including how to get to our location. During the session, she made sure we were comfortable and her energy kept us smiling—especially when we stepped in the cold water as the sun was setting. The best part was the gallery reveal, where she shared proofs, explained why she selected her favorites, and offered to mock up an arrangement of the photos in my wall! We had an excellent experience doing a holiday mini session for the first time with Maria. She was great at communicating prior to the shoot date with instructions of where to meet and what to expect on the day of. During photos she was patient and kind, which was especially comforting with a busy toddler. Maria was excellent from the booking process all the way to receiving the final product! She scheduled a phone call prior to our scheduled appointment where she gave very detailed instructions on what to expect day of, and gave me the opportunity to address any questions I had for her. She even sent a guide to assist with outfit ideas! During the shoot she kept my kids engaged and was super efficient - something that is important when you're dealing with a 4 and 2 year-old.
